How-toConnect Quo
Text your team from your Quo (formerly OpenPhone) number every time a customer submits a booking.
Updated Sep 30, 2026
The Quo integration sends a text message to your team for every new booking. Texts go out from a phone number in your Quo workspace, so replies land in Quo.
Connect Quo
- 1
Turn on Quo
In the sidebar, under Integrations, click Browse (or Manage). Switch Quo on, then click Quo to open its setup page.
- 2
Save your API key
In the API key card, paste the key and click Save. You see "API key saved." The key is stored encrypted.
- 3
Set up team alerts
In New request alerts (internal), check Enabled. Pick a number in Send from. Under Send to (team numbers), enter the phone numbers to text. Click + Add another number for more.
- 4
Save the section
Click Save in that section. You see "New request alerts saved."
- 5
Send a test
Click Send test. The first Send to number gets "ServiceReserve test SMS — your Quo integration is working." You see "Test SMS sent." and the status becomes connected.
What the team text says
Each booking sends one text to every Send to number. It reads like this:
New booking from Jane Smith (+15551234567). Service: Drain cleaning. Address: 12 Oak St, Springfield, IL.
It shows the customer's name and phone, the first selected service (or the category), and the service address. Texts are cut off at 320 characters.
Customer texts
The page also has Booking confirmation (to customer) and Abandoned request (to customer) sections. Each has a Message template with a Variables button that inserts customer details, and Abandoned request has Send after (minutes).
Check sent texts
The Recent SMS card lists the last 50 texts sent from this workspace, newest first. Each row shows the time, type, status, recipient, and message. A text identical to one sent to the same number in the last 3 minutes is skipped as a duplicate.
Stop texts
- Stop team alerts only. Uncheck Enabled in New request alerts (internal) and click Save.
- Pause Quo. Switch the toggle in the page header to Disabled. Your key and settings stay saved.
Troubleshooting
- "Couldn't load your Quo phone numbers: …" Quo rejected the saved key or couldn't be reached. Paste the key again and click Save.
- Send from says "Save your API key to load phone numbers". No key is saved, or the key has no numbers. Save a key first.
- "Pick a "Send from" number first." Choose a number and click Save.
- "Add at least one "Send to" number first." Enter a team number and click Save.
- "… is not a valid E.164 phone number (e.g. +15551234567)." Enter the number with its country code.
- "An identical SMS was sent in the last 3 minutes — suppressed to prevent duplicates." Wait 3 minutes before sending the same test again.
- "Last send failed: …" The last text failed. The message is Quo's reason.
- "Re-enable the integration before saving." The integration is paused. Switch the page-header toggle on.
