Connect Claude with MCP

Let Claude and other MCP clients read your booking requests, forms, and business profiles.

Updated Sep 30, 2026

The MCP Server lets an AI assistant such as Claude look up your bookings. Ask it things like "Which requests came in this week?" and it reads the answer from your workspace. It can only read data. It can't create, edit, or delete anything.

What Claude can read

The Available tools card lists the four read-only tools:

ToolWhat it returns
list_requestsBooking requests, newest first. Filter by form or business profile.
get_requestOne booking request by id.
list_formsYour booking forms, default first.
list_profilesYour business profiles, default first. Filter by form.

Each tool returns the same data as the matching API endpoint.

Connect Claude on the web

Claude on the web signs in with your ServiceReserve account, so you don't need a token.

  1. 1

    Copy the Server URL

In the Connection card, click Copy next to Server URL.

  2. 2

Add a custom connector in Claude

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL into Remote MCP server URL. Leave the OAuth client id and secret blank.

  3. 3

    Allow access

Click Connect. A ServiceReserve window lists what Claude can and can't do. Sign in if asked, then click Allow.

Connect Claude Code or Claude Desktop

These clients use a token instead of signing in.

  1. 1

    Create a token

In the MCP tokens card, click New token. Enter a Name, such as "Claude Desktop", and click Create token.

  2. 2

    Copy the token

Click Copy. The token starts with srm_.

  3. 3

    Add it to your client

Expand Manual setup — Claude Code / Claude Desktop. The commands there already include your Server URL and the new token. Copy the Claude Code command and run it, or copy the Claude Desktop JSON into claude_desktop_config.json.

See recent calls

The Recent MCP requests card lists the last 100 calls to your MCP server. Each row shows the time, method, tool, status code, duration, and IP address.

The MCP tokens table shows when each token was last used.

Revoke a token

In the MCP tokens table, click Revoke on the token's row, then confirm. Calls with that token fail right away. You can't undo this. Create a new token if you need access again.

Claude on the web doesn't use a token from this table. To disconnect it, remove the custom connector in Claude.

Troubleshooting

  • "Invalid or revoked token." The token was revoked or mistyped. Create a new token and update your client.
  • "Missing bearer token." The client didn't send the Authorization header. Check the header in your client config.
  • "Rate limit exceeded — retry in … s." Each token can make up to 60 calls per second. Wait and try again.
  • "Name is required" Enter a name before clicking Create token.
