How-toConnect Google Sheets
Add a row to a Google spreadsheet for every booking, with one tab per form.
Updated Sep 30, 2026
The Google Sheets integration keeps a running log of your bookings in a spreadsheet you own. ServiceReserve creates the spreadsheet for you and adds one row per booking.
Connect Google Sheets
- 1
Turn on Google Sheets
In the sidebar, under Integrations, click Browse (or Manage). Switch Google Sheets on, then click Google Sheets to open its setup page.
- 2
Click Connect
In the Connection card, click Connect. Google's sign-in page opens.
- 3
Approve access
Pick your Google account and approve access. Google sends you back to the setup page, which now says "Connected to Google."
- 4
Send a test row
Click Send test row. When you see "Test row appended. Open your spreadsheet to confirm.", the Spreadsheet card shows an Open spreadsheet link.
How the spreadsheet is organized
- One spreadsheet. The first booking, or your first test row, creates a spreadsheet named "ServiceReserve Bookings" in your Google Drive.
- One tab per form. The first booking from each form adds a tab named after the form. The Spreadsheet card lists the tabs.
- Test rows go to a tab named "Bookings".
- Header row. Each new tab starts with a header row. After that, every booking adds one row.
The empty "Sheet1" tab that Google adds to new spreadsheets is removed automatically.
Columns
Each tab starts with these columns:
| Group | Columns |
|---|---|
| Booking | Submitted At, Request ID |
| Contact | First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Company |
| Address | Address, Address 2, City, State, Zip, Country |
| Services | Category, Selected Services, Total Amount |
| Time | Preferred Date, Preferred Slot |
| Attribution | Source, UTM Source, UTM Medium, UTM Campaign, UTM Term, UTM Content, Referrer, Page URL, Landing Page, RWG Token, RWG Merchant ID, GCLID |
Each intake question gets its own column. It's added to the right the first time a booking answers it. Questions asked about a specific service or category are named "Service — Question". Uploaded files show as the file name followed by a download link.
Check deliveries
The Recent activity card lists the last 50 bookings added to your spreadsheet. Each successful row shows the cell range it was written to. Failed rows show the error from Google.
Stop adding rows
Switch the toggle in the page header to Disabled. No rows are added while it's off. The spreadsheet and your connection stay as they are.
Troubleshooting
- Keep the tab names and column order. ServiceReserve remembers the tabs and columns it created. Renaming a tab can make new rows fail. Reordering columns can put values under the wrong header. You can add your own columns to the right of the last one.
- Don't delete the spreadsheet. Rows keep going to the same spreadsheet, and reconnecting doesn't create a new one.
- "Last push failed: Google Sheets rejected request: …" Google refused the write. The message after the colon is Google's reason.
- "Append failed — see Recent deliveries for details." The test row failed. The error is in the Recent activity table.
- "Append will retry — see Recent deliveries for the latest error." The test row hit a temporary error and will be retried.
- Access expired or was revoked. ServiceReserve refreshes Google access automatically. If you removed its access in your Google account, click Reconnect.
- "Re-enable the Google Sheets integration first." The integration is paused. Switch the page-header toggle on.
