Tips for a better garage door request form

  • Require only what's wrong and door size; those two answers get the right spring on the truck, and the photo fills in the rest.
  • Put New Door Installation on a separate form with scheduling turned off, so consultations come in as requests your sales team follows up on.
  • The default minimum notice is 1 day, so lower it in Schedules if you want broken-spring customers to see today's arrival windows.
  • Add a Text block under the photo question showing where the springs are, since many homeowners don't know what to photograph.
  • Set your ZIP codes in Service areas so a customer across the metro sees an out-of-area message instead of booking a slot you can't reach.

Can customers upload a photo of the broken spring?

Yes. Add a File upload question to the form or to the Spring & Cable Replacement service. The photo arrives with the request.

Can I show a service call fee?

Yes. Set a price on each service and turn on Show prices so customers see the fee before they book. Payment is collected your usual way.
